Hiva® products are warranted to its original owner against 1 ( one) year for any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship and 5 (Five) years for zip's and runners ( for YKK Runners and Zips Only). This carry-in warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and the warranty does not cover for damage due to misuse / overweight kept/ physical wear & tear on usage under non normal usage.The warranty card is valid only when the card is duly filled along with the dealer seal with the dealer signature, serial number, date of sale etc...
The warranty will not be valid for the Showroom / dealer / distributor stock for kept stock more than 90 days from the date of purchase, Purchased either from company or its distributor/s or its dealers. Customers are requested to check manufacturing date on the Tag / manufacturing date label.
Each product covered under Warranty carries a Warranty card with a specific Warranty coverage depending on the material and type of product. Hiva® branded products are covered by the Hiva® carry-in warranty. If warranty card not submitted while claim the warranty void.
Hiva® Warranty covers all manufacturing defects on zippers, runners for 5 years and company decision will be final to repair or replace .
Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse,over weight kept or negligence) and damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.
Clothing / Fabric is not covered by the Hiva® Warranty.
When submitting a warranty claim, we need you to present your Purchase Invoice / Warranty Card as proof of purchase. The Hiva® Warranty is applicable only within the Indian subcontinent.
To avail the Hiva® Warranty, we request customers to physically bring the product and proof of purchase (invoice) to their nearest Hiva® store/ service centre.
In case there are no Authorised Service Points near you, you will need to bear the shipping charges to send your product to the Warranty Department at Hiva® Head Office /Service centre. Hiva® will absorb the return shipping charges using physical post.

As general guidance, most Hiva® Polyester material gear have an 12-months warranty. The Hiva® Nylon gear has a 15 months warranty. The Hiva® Robic material gear enjoys a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
We build our products to last over extended periods of use, but well used gear always goes through wear and tear. Fabric may deteriorate and colours may fade over time. Limited Lifetime means we will cover your product under our warranty policy until we are convinced that it is worn beyond reasonable repair.
If the product is showing signs of heavier-than-regular use – for example if the material is thin or faded, there are multiple tears or fraying edges, the zippers have stopped working, cuffs are fraying, or soles are well worn—we will take this into consideration when considering your product for a warranty request.
If your warranted product fails due to a manufacturing defect in material or workmanship, our first option will be to repair the item, free of charge. If the product is not repairable, or if the cost of repair is higher than the cost of a new one, we may, at our discretion, choose to replace the product.
Please allow 15 working days for Service completion, from the date of submitting your product at a Hiva® Service Centre. Minor repairs are often done at the Service Centre itself, but major repairs are sent back to the Head service point Office in Chennai, therefore extending the time taken to return them to you. For an update on the repair status of your product please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your Repair Estimate Slip reference and your registered mobile number.
Submit a non dusted & cleaned product.
Ensure all repair related issues are mentioned in the Repair Estimate Slip given by the store staff.
Present the Repair Estimate Slip at the time of collection.
Hiva® will not be held responsible for products not collected within 30 days from the estimated Date of Delivery mentioned on the Repair Estimate Slip.
Contact the store where you dropped the product for any information related to the repair.
Out of warranty claim repairs are possible for an additional charge. The charge depends on the extent of repair and the time taken for it. Please take your product into the nearest Authorised Service Centre for a repair estimate to be raised by the store manager
For easier handling as well as for the protection of our repair staff, we request that all products be cleaned before being given to us. Products that arrive unwashed may be subject to a cleaning fee before assessments can be made.
The Hiva® Warranty is applicable on any of our original branded products bought through any point of sale including trade outlets, our own retail stores or at any online partner. Please send us a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase in order for the Warranty to be availed.

Hiva wheeler;s are built to last and are covered under a 1 year* warranty as long as they are cared for properly. Here are a few tips to enhance the life and performance of your wheeled gear.
You can hand wash your wheeler with a mild soap and a soft brush. Use cold water. Always rinse it well so that all the soap is removed and ensure it is air-dried before the next use. Do not machine wash or machine dry your wheeler or any part of it.
While storing, ensure that your bag is kept in a cool, dry place. It must be completely dry and free of mould and dirt. By doing this you will avoid the damage mildew causes to the nylon coating and fabric threads. When stored, keep your bag away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, acids, oxidizing agents found in concrete and alkalis. Exposure to extreme temperatures can damage the coatings of the fabric.
Hiva does not offer a warranty on the metal parts of the wheeler bags. If you would like us to repair or replace a part for you, we can do so at an additional charge (for details, please visit a store near you for an evaluation of the damage).
